Card Assignment: NY 95th Anniversary

This is an assignment piece which I rushed out together with other clashing deadlines...It's a birthday card made for my school's 95th Anniversary. A little late now though, haha.

T-Shirt Design for 黄城!

I took a second CCA in my school and joined the publicity group for 黄/城/夜/韵! The J1s were mainly responsible for the shirt designs while the J2s on the bigger things like banner/booklet/postcard/jacket etc. So~~~ juniors if you're reading this post---consider joining HCYY in the future! The commitment level might be high but it's definitely worth it! ^^

My friend came up with a tag line: “尘, 承, 城, 续写我们的故事......” for the HCYY shirt. So my initial idea was actually to show a sense of continuity with the “|” line that normally comes after a sentence you're typing. (e.g. in Word document)

But after discussing with the seniors, the font thing was taken out for "safer" printing. The end product is hmm not very satisfactory - the logo in front was a little too big and the design is... grah x( nvm. The teacher/my seniors told me to express 黄城的精神 in the design but honestly the meaning of it was too arbitrary for me when I first entered HCYY. Anw I tried my best! and yeahhh I think I've done a good job xD
